Ethics of Ethics

We the humans, if allowed to be so addressed, need to define everything before we put it to use.To be precise we need rebuilding confidence, essential in the ethics of  defining ethics,not by the authority you hold but by the reason you have the capacity to display.How do you define Ethics.Can we be different on parameters of ethics if we have to share the same stage?
